She was predeceased by: her parents, James Watson MacLafferty and Maurine Roberts Stonebraker MacLafferty; her brother Paul; her sister-in-law Shirley MacLafferty; and her husband Howard.

She is survived by: her children, Robin Kiser (Ned) of Lake Lure, Mark Johnson (Marcia) of Shenandoah and Jeff Johnson (Joy); her grandchildren, Jason Kiser (Tiffany) of Roanoke, Indiana, Aaron Kiser (Megan) of Olympia Fields, Illinois, Mackenzie Scrivens (Luke) of Savannah, Missouri, Casey Smith (Reed) of Ankeny, Iowa, Carly Johnson and Cameron Johnson; her great grandchildren, Gwenyth and Estella Kiser; and her grandchildren, Camila, Frances Kiser, Hayden, Kayde Scrivens and Finn Smith. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
