Marjorie A. Freeze Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marjorie A. Freeze of Shenandoah, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Tiemeyer and Lillian Tiemeyer; and her in-laws, Alice and Morris Freeze. She is survived by: her husband Dave Freeze of Shenandoah, Iowa; her daughters, Kim Ratliff (Todd) of Albia, Iowa and Keri Hill (Darren) of Albia, Iowa; her grandchildren, Skyler of Knoxville, Iowa, Brock of Corydon, Iowa, Danica of Albia, Iowa, CJ of Albia, Iowa, Kolbe of Albia, Iowa and Tyson of Albia, Iowa; her brother Roland Tiemeyer of Shenandoah, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, Dixie Major of Essex, Iowa, Darlene Kowakee of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and Gene Freeze of Henderson, Nevada. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nishna Valley Funeral and Cremation Service (405 W Thomas Ave, Shenandoah, IA 51601). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (713 Church St, Shenandoah, IA 51601).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church or the Shenandoah Fire Department.
