She was predeceased by: her husband Gene; her mother-in-law Mamie McMullen; her son-in-law Joe Wilson; her brother-in-law David Stevens; and her aunt Barb Taylor.

She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Wilson (Mike) of Shenandoah, IA and Sheri Wilson of Olathe, KS; her grandchildren, Bryan Wilson (Hannah Shalters) of Red Oak, IA, Beth Wilson (Jason Franke) of Omaha, NE, Logan Wilson (Izzy Collazo) of Olathe, KS and Landry Wilson of Olathe, KS; her siblings, Danny Whitehill (Mary) of Farragut, IA and Vicki Stevens of Farragut, IA; and her close friend Rita King (Ronn) of Sioux Falls, SD.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nishna Valley Funeral and Cremation Service (405 W Thomas Ave, Shenandoah, IA 51601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Shenandoah Congregational United Church of Christ (300 Church St, Shenandoah, IA 51601).
