With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lance Read Rydberg (Shenandoah, Iowa), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on October 20, 2019 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glenn and Virginia Read Rydberg of Shenandoah; his wife Kaye Courington; his children, Read Courington Rydberg and Kathryn Morgan Rydberg; and his siblings, Tom Rydberg (Marsha) of Tampa and Kathryn Gaver (John) of Jacksonville. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Sierra Club or Gulf Restoration Network.
