She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Aldinger and Alma Aldinger (Brunmaier); her husband Marlin; and her daughter Kelly Anne. She is survived by: her daughter Jeanne Rae; her son-in-law Justin Anderson (Jennie); and her brother Dennis Aldinger (Ruby). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren whom she adored, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She pursued further education at Iowa Western Community College and made meaningful contributions to the Shenandoah Community School District, Wilson Insurance Agency, and Eaton Corporation.
