It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel W. Bashaw (Shenandoah, Iowa), born in Corning, Iowa, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb Bashaw and Wilma Bashaw (Lynam). He is survived by: his children, Heidi Marie (Eric) of Omaha and Todd William of Shenandoah; his wife Marlene Bashaw (Holmes) of Shenandoah; his daughter Elizabeth Bashaw of Omaha; his sister Jeanne Jones; his nephew Brent Jones (Myra) of Dallas; his brother Tom Bashaw of Lake; and his granddaughter Hattie Eide of Omaha. He is also survived by numerous cousins, other extended family members and many friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Organ Fund) or Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center.
