With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Lindburg of Shenandoah, Iowa, who passed away on September 6, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Gibson and Ruth May Scott (Sheirbon); her husband Glendon Lindburg; her son Jay Glendon Lindburg; and her son-in-law Tom Hohl.

She is survived by: her daughter Teena Hohl of Aurora, CO; her daughter-in-law Shari Lindburg of Shenandoah, IA; her grandsons, Lucas Hohl (Ashtyn) of Aurora, CO, Joshua Hohl (Kristie) of Aurora, CO and Evan Lindburg (Sandy Boyles) of Omaha, NE; and her great grandchildren, TJ of Aurora, CO, Weston of Aurora, CO, Maylee of Aurora, CO and Emery Hohl of Aurora, CO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.

“It saddens our hearts, both David's and mine, to hear about Evelyn passing away. She was a big part of our lives when we moved to Shenandoah from Colorado in the 90's and later, she and Glendon even came here to visit us. We have so many memories, it would take an album to write them all down. So proud she was part of our lives. Even in her last letters and notes, she was always thinking of others. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family - what a wonderful lady she was!”
