He was predeceased by: his parents, George James Lawrence and Betty Irene Lawrence (Rotinski); and his brother Thomas Edwin Lawrence. He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Griffin of Council Bluffs, IA and JoAnn Vignery (Kenneth) of Fremont, NE; his nieces and nephews, David Lawrence (Cassy), Joseph Griffin IV, Christopher Griffin, Andrew Vignery, Ahkeshia Velazquez (Luis), Tshaunda Henley and Erin Sorensen (Tyler); and his uncle Sonny Lawrence (Patty). He is also survived by siblings; other relatives and many friends.
