It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bonnie Carpenter of Shenandoah, Iowa, born in Maryville, Missouri, who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Hayes and Gertrude Hayes (Edwards); her husband Calvin Carpenter; her brother Cecil Hayes; her sister-in-law Irene Hayes; her nephew Gene Hayes; and her great grandchild Sydney Carpenter.

She is survived by: her sons, Rodney, Clearmont, Randy Carpenter (Tammie) of Adel, IA and Rod Carpenter (Diane) of Farragut, IA; her grandchildren, Ryan Carpenter (Kristi), Rusty Carpenter, Robbie Carpenter, Chad Carpenter (Carmelina) and Kylie Sharpe (Phillip); her great grandchildren, Jordyn Thompson, Calvin, Elijah, Kolby, Everly, Avery, Fitz and Rocco Carpenter; her nephews, Jim Hayes (Sandra) and Joe Hayes (Bonnie); and her niece Shirley Hayes. She is also survived by other relatives; and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bonnie's name are being directed to the Nishna Valley Christian Church in Shenandoah.
