With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bette Rose Whitehead (Shenandoah, Iowa), born in Gothenburg, Nebraska, who passed away on May 7, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ostendorf and Lena Ostendorf (Folkers); her brothers, LaVern and LaRoy; her son-in-law Gregory 'Bernie' Werner; and her great grandchild DeAnte Nicolarsen.
She is survived by: her spouse LeRoy Whitehead; her daughters, Lonnette Lee, Debra Lee and Sandra Lee; her great grandchild Taylor; and her children, Lonnie Hartstack (Denny) of Clarinda, Iowa, Debra Nicolarsen (Mike) of Hastings, NE and Sandy Ritter (Michael) of San Antonio, TX.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
