She was predeceased by: her parents, John Boker and Mary Boker (King). She is survived by: her husband Donald Bruce Babbitt; her children, Steve Babbitt of Shenandoah and Cathy Peterson (Neal) of Shenandoah; her grandchildren, Megan Bearman (Ben) of Omaha and Abby Medeiros (Yarden) of Council Bluffs; and her great grandchildren, Graham, Hazel, Odin, Florence Medeiros of Council Bluffs and Sidney Bearman of Omaha. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Before the COVID-19 lockdown, Barbara was able to receive visitors at Elm Heights Care Center.
