He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur August and Maude Elizabeth Brodersen (Thomas); and his siblings, Becky Ann Brodersen, Linda Fry and Duane.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Savage; his sons, Steve (Dawn) and Bob (Beth); his grandchildren, Nick (Eva), Sam, Phillip Brodersen and Sela Brodersen; and his sister Goldie (Chuck). He is also survived by sister-in-law, (Cynthia); several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom's name are being directed to the First Presbyterian Church.
