He was predeceased by: his parents, James Scalise and Dorothy Scalise (Krueger); his wife Billie Jean; his brothers, James and Donald Scalise; and his parents-in-law, Betty and Loren Craft.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy Tesar and Kevin Scalise; and his grandchildren, Breeanne Tesar and Logan Tesar. He is also survived by brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
