He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Coy and Nellie Coy (Engledow); his wife Janet Marie Theel; his daughters, Susan Wescott and Sally Ives; and his siblings, Louiva, Sadie, Alta, Blanche, Lloyd, William and George.
He is survived by: his friend Burl Cherryholmes; his sisters, Genevieve Thiher of Phoenix, AZ and Edith Williams (Harley) of LaPorte City, IA; and his nephew Bob Gee (Dorothy) of Marion.
