It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louie Gardemann (Shellsburg, Iowa), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on October 27, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Gardemann and Opal Gardemann (Van Deusen); his sister Kethella Merchant; his daughter Cindy; his granddaughter Jacque; and his sister-in-law Byrene Gardemann.

He is survived by: his spouse Juanita of Shellsburg; his children, Twyla Gardemann of Vinton and Tim Gardemann of Cedar Rapids; and his brother David Gardemann of Mankato. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
