It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Robert Yock of Shellsburg, Iowa, born in Clarence, Iowa, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Yock and Lois Workman Yock; and his wife Elaine Chapman. He is survived by: his children, Todd Yock (Melissa) of Toddville and Tami Richardt (Pete) of Walford; his grandchildren, Danielle, Sydney, Noah and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Grace and Landon; and his siblings, Francis Yock of Cedar Rapids, Kenneth Yock (Dianna) of Quincy, IL, Sharon Stewart of Marion and Barbara Hamer of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to concerns over Covid, it is suggested that family members and friends wear a mask to any funeral event.
