It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Johnson of Shellsburg, Iowa, born in Mount Vernon, Iowa, who passed away on August 9, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Johnson and Anna Johnson (Pfeifle); his daughter Theresa; his grandson Justin; his siblings, Donna, Harley and Marvin; and his pet Buck I, II.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Johnson (Jill), Tina Lillie (Shawn), Tammy Johnson and Trudy Wagner (Gerard); and his brother Harlan Johnson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
