With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Edward Kochuyt of Shellsburg, Iowa, born in Belle Plaine, Iowa, who passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kochuyt and Margaret Kochuyt (DePoorter); his brother Larry Kochuyt; and his father-in-law Raymond Meyocks. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Kochuyt of Shellsburg; his children, Dale Kochuyt (Suzie) of Atkins, Sherry Garringer (Jeremy) of North English and Jennifer Grace (Matt) of Dysart; his stepchildren, Alisha Frese (Eric) of Norway, Brooke Heins (Matt) of Center Point and Jillian Kramer (Ebie Essien) of Iowa City; his grandchildren, Ashley Kochuyt (Heith Hinds), Alyssa Kochuyt, Abby, Dominic Garringer, Hannah, Ryan, Zach Grace, Jackson, Cora Frese, Madeline, Noah Heins, Lauryn and Olivia Essien; his siblings, Donna Jack (Lonnie) of Victor, Kathy Roth of Brooklyn and Robert Kochuyt (Melinda) of Ladora; and his mother-in-law Hazel Meyocks of Cedar Rapids.
