He is survived by: his wife Arlene Ullrich of Shellsburg; his children, Brynja Ullrich (Tim Browning) of Baldwin City, Kansas and Conrad Ullrich (Michelle) of Mechanicsville; and his parents-in-law, Diana Smith (Charles) of Oelwein, Joyce DeSotel (Tom) of Newhall, Julie Dettbarn (Arne) of Stanley and Ronald Michels (Mary Jane) of Decorah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
