We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2019, at the age of 89, John Gerhard Luebbers (Shell Rock, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Knipp; and his siblings, Herman and Johanna Thrasher (Bob). He is survived by: his children, Nancy Huber (Keith) of Waverly, Jim Luebbers (Ann) of Aplington, Rob Luebbers of Shell Rock and Michael Luebbers (Dawn Keller) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Bailey, Ella Luebbers, Keely Hinkel (Ed), Raine Mollenbeck (Tyson), Ian Huber, Kate Luebbers and Michellie Luebbers; his great grandchildren, Holton, Huxin Hinkel, Avery and Kade Mollenbeck; his siblings, Gerhard Luebbers (Dorothy) of Allison, Adelheid Murphy (Joe) of Cedar Falls and Margaret Kleinschmidt (Gay) of Clarksville; and his sister-in-law Kay Luebbers of Sumner.
