She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Bolton and Alice Bolton (Ackerson); her husband Dale Hovenga; her daughters, Geraldine Parker, Debbie, Patty and Tammy Hovenga; and her brothers, Ed and Jerry Wayne Bolton.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Gordon (Joe) of Palm Coast, Anna Epley (Nort) of Shell Rock, David Parker (Barb) of Newell, Alan Hovenga of Plainfield, Jerry Hovenga of Clarksville and Terry Hovenga of Shell Rock, Iowa; her sister Mary Bolton-Starr of Washington; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Hinders of Clarksville and Judy Luhring of Aplington, Iowa.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.
