It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Harstad (Shell Rock, Iowa), born in Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on October 16, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Bodeker and Norma Bodeker (Amundson); her husband Wendell; her children, Barbara Kugel and Ronald Harstad; her granddaughter Julie Ducker; her great grandchildren, Dawson Kirk and Megan Mason; and her brothers, Stanley Bodeker and William Bodeker.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Harstad (Pam) of Evansdale, Iowa, Sandra Hansen (Curt) of Waverly and Debra Jensen (Jay) of Cedar Falls, Iowa. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
