Though Dennis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dennis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Howe and Dorothy Howe (Pettit); his daughter Shelley Howe; and his parents-in-law, Harold and Johanna Schmeling.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Schmeling of Whittemore; his daughter Julie Zwolinski (Robert) of Mound, MN; and his stepgrandson Ryder Zwolinski.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (520 N Garfield St, Algona, IA 50511). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Harlington Cemetery.
