She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Nieman and Nellie Nieman (DeWitt); her husband Thomas Dale Rust; her daughter Kimberly Kay Rust; her siblings, Carlys Nieman and Nancy; and her brother-in-law Don Bauler.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin D. Rust of Shell Rock and Larry Rust (Peggy) of Waterloo, Iowa; her grandchildren, Nichollette Rider (Jay Jackson), Lisa Miller and Valerie Kolpek; her great grandchildren, Stella Rider, Jackson Miller, Lucas Miller and Bella Kolpek; her brothers, Mitch Nieman (Laura) of Shell Rock, Iowa, Den Nieman (Maria) of Waverly and Steve Nieman (Rachel) of Shell Rock, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Marlys Nieman of Shell Rock, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Connie's family for later designation.
