It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burdette Lee Johnson of Shell Rock, Iowa, born in Aurora, Iowa, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Charles and Winifred Mae Johnson (Mulford); and his brother Glenn Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Ellyn Johnson (Wyth) of Shell Rock; his children, Craig Johnson of Shell Rock and Brenda Johnson-Knop of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kylee Knop-Vargason (Mitch) and Sarah Johnson-Helderman (Reed); his great grandchild Jaxson Burdette; and his brothers, Rick Johnson (Shelly) of Winthrop and Darwin Johnson (Mary Jean) of Independence.
