She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Fredrick and Loah Abigail Oler (Jones); and her siblings, Dale, Darrel, Dallas, Donald and Theda Heinzeroth.

She is survived by: her husband Harold Christian Nielsen; her sons, Alvin Nielsen of Augusta, Kenneth Nielsen (Marissa) and William Nielsen (Julanne) of Janesville; and her grandchildren, Isaiah, Tiffany and Precious. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
