He is survived by: his wife Marlys Hogenkamp of Shell Rock, Iowa; his grandson Matthew Smith of Clarksville, Iowa; his close friend Dave Toulouse of Clarksville, Iowa; his children, Charles of Wisconsin and Mary of Colorado; and his brothers-in-law, Clyde Luck Sr. and Jerry Livingston.
