She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Dolphin and Bessie Dolphin (Hoekstra); and her close friend Bill Vogelaar. She is survived by: her children, Gloria Bannister, Dennis Bannister (Janet) and Connie Schley (Kevin); her grandchildren, Levi, Jarek (Anna) and Brooklin Bannister; her sisters, Phyllis Huntoon (Bill) and Delores Dolphin; and her close friend Nyla King. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home - Sheldon (724 6th Ave, Sheldon, IA 51201). Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
