Roger A. Poppema Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2020, at the age of 77, Roger A. Poppema (Sheldon, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Poppema and Jeanette Poppema (Peters). He is survived by: his wife Donna Uittenbogaard of Sheldon; his children, Greg, Amy Jo, Krystal Poppema of Sheldon and Steve Rozeboom of Rock Valley, Iowa; his grandchildren, Brooke (Dan Faber), Taylor Poppema, Morgan (Chad Hoekstra), Dalton (Kenli Poppema) and Beau Kapperman; his great grandchildren, Drake, Tate and Hayes Faber; and his siblings, Junior, Jan Poppema of Hospers, Carol, Jerry DeVriess of Colorado, Howard and Joyce Poppema of Hospers, Iowa.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Due to state and federal guidelines due to COVID-19 there will be safety procedures at the church regarding social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Sheldon Christian School or Western Christian Schools.
