With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert L. Merley of Sheldon, Iowa, who passed away on June 13, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sr. Merley and Gertrude Merley (Vos); and his son Michael. He is survived by: his wife Julia Vander Linden; his son Jeffrey Rider of Williamsburg, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jerome, Leslie and Johnny Rider; his great grandchildren, Billy, Josie and Carly; and his brother Rod (Renae Merley) of Sheldon. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
