With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert J. Sterler of Sheldon, Iowa, born in Sibley, Iowa, who passed away on November 10, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sterler and Frances Sterler (DeGroot); his wife Arlene Bonestroo; his parents-in-law, Fred and Clara Bonestroo; and his siblings-in-law, Dena Sterler, Joanne Sterler, Phyllis Sterler, Arnie Verrips, Lawrence Feyerabend, Marty Ennema, John Rees and Dean Seivert.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Travis Sterler (Ashley Shugars), Ryan Sterler (Maggie Ohrt), Dayna Korthals and Dalton Korthals; his great grandchild Mikayla; his siblings, Roger, Ronald Sterler, Madonna Feyerabend, Marilyn Rees, Lynn Seivert, Pat Snyder (Larry) and Pam Kruger (Darrell); his nieces and nephews, Ryan Ennema, Kent Olson, Francine Verrips, Donna Sterler, Shelly Palmer, Jaime Verrips and Bella Snyder; and his pet Molly Mae.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Bill Sterler for a future memorial in Bob's name.
