She was predeceased by: her mother Edith Christine Halstrom (Anderson); her husband Roger Wayne Smith; her son-in-law Dwight Pierce; her father Leonard Halstrom; her parents-in-law, Helmer and Laura Smith; her siblings, Milton Halstrom (Marjorie), Ruby Pixler (Max), Marvin Halstrom (Sharon), Arlene Carlson (Delbert), Tom Steele, Lorraine Mortenson and Delores Halstrom; and her parents-in-law, Shirley, Aaron Kruse and Gwen Halstrom.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela K., Dr. Bradley Smith (Danna) of Scottsdale, AZ, Pam Pierce of Sheldon, IA and JoLynn Nulph (Scott) of Peoria, AZ; her grandchildren, Nicholas Pierce, Ashley Nulph, Alexander Smith and Elizabeth Smith; her siblings, Bernice Steele of Spirit Lake, IA and Jim Halstrom of Meriden, IA; and her brother-in-law Robert Mortenson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current COVID-19 regulations practicing social distancing, the capacity of the church will be at 50 percent during the visitation and the funeral service.
