With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paula Rae Halstenson (Sheldon, Iowa), born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 7, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Larson and Doris Larson (Howarth); her son Jeffrey Lee; her husband Gerald Halstenson; her brother Thomas Clayton; her parents-in-law, Roy and Catherine; her sister Nancy (Crowe); her daughter-in-law Kim; her godson Doug Evenson; and her brother-in-law Dick DeBettignies.

She is survived by: her former husband Roger Sanders; her children, Brett Sanders, Jeff Sanders (Julie), Nancy Johnson (Jeff), Lori Granstra (Darin) and Amy Halstenson; her grandchildren, Lexi Bumby, Morgan Bumby, Spencer Bumby, Carter Bumby, Riley Johnson, Sam Johnson and Brennan Granstra (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Georgia and Lillian; her grandson Jacob Granstra (Meghan); her great grandchild Brody; her grandson Jeffrey Granstra (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Briar; her grandchildren, Ben Granstra, Olivia Granstra, Jessica Bache and Lauren Bache; her parents-in-law, Gail DeBettignies, Marvel Evenson, Nancy Anderson (Mike), Reid Evenson and Wayne Crowe; and her close friend Jan Rolston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
