She was predeceased by: her parents, Linferd Theodore and Thelma Mae Saupe (Childers); and her sister Janet. She is survived by: her son Adam (Jennifer Saupe) of Parker, Colorado; her grandsons, Brody and Ledger Saupe; and her brother Perry (Mary Ann Saupe) of Long Beach, California.
In lieu of flowers, Paula requested memorials be sent to the National Alliance on Mental Illness-Iowa.
