She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Dinsmore and Annie Dinsmore (Witherly); her son James Gilbert; her close friend Norman Hasey; and her pet Tasha.
She is survived by: her sister Sandra Patterson of Veazie; her children, Mark Gilbert (Sherry) of Hudson and Kathy Lea (James "Michael") of Milford, Delaware; her grandchildren, Jessica Morris (Christopher) of Bangor, Christopher (Tanisha) of Hudson, Connor Lea and Kelce Lea of Milford, Delaware; her great grandchildren, Easton Gilbert, Sirena Gilbert and Elijah Gilbert; her brother-in-law Kenneth Gilbert (Patricia) of Orrington; and her close friends, Charlene Whalen, Tom, Heidi Clark, Karen Walker and Sally Page.
