He was predeceased by: his parents, Hyman Maanen and Margaret Van Maanen (Moret); and his adoptive parents, Bill Moret and Dena Moret. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Dammann of Sheldon; his children, Greg (Grace Moret) of Boyden, Nancie (Chuck Nation) of Lee's Summit and Mike (Lisa Moret) of Spencer; his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Ben, Connor, Gini, Tina and Peter; his great grandchildren, Lane and Lyla; and his siblings, Leona, Bill Rosenboom of Sheldon and Larry Moret of Boyden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future distribution to missions within the community.
