He was predeceased by: his parents, John Habbinga and Anna Habbinga (Stueven); his brother Lawrence; his sister-in-law Kathryn Habbinga; his brother Kenneth; his siblings-in-law, Donna Habbinga and Jack Johnston; and his niece Peggy Ann Habbinga.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Johnston of Richland, WA; and his nieces and nephews, Dick Habbinga of Columbia, SC, Lydia Johnston of Spokane, WA, Darrell Habbinga (Traci) of Clearwater, MN, Debbie Romine (David) of Benton City, WA, Amy Habbinga of Burlington, VT, Mark Johnston (Lisa) of Overland Park, KS, Mary Person (Larry) of Sioux Falls, SD and Paul Habbinga (Pam) of Boyden, IA. He is also survived by great-great nephews and nieces; and other extended family.
