She was predeceased by: her parents, Ike Bosma and Elizabeth Bosma (Vander Veen); her husband Harold Muilenburg; and her son-in-law Paul Carlson. She is survived by: her son Douglas Jay; her friend Donald Dykstra; her close friend Connie; her children, Lesa Kruger (Dennis), Doug Muilenburg (Deb) and Julie Carlson; her grandchildren, Jason Kruger, Jill Haverdink (Caleb), Jodi Bastron (Tom), Jenna Zandstra (Justin), Eric Muilenburg (Katie), Andrew Muilenburg (Jamie Carpenter), Jordan Muilenburg, Craig Chentfant (Kina), Danny Carlson and Thomas Carlson; and her brother Joe Bosma (Mary). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home (724 6th Ave, Sheldon, IA 51201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery (1399 Washington Ave, Sheldon, IA 51201).
