She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Kruse and Viola Kruse (Schueller); her husband Vernon Henry Ricke; her daughter Sharon Marie Ricke; and her sister Mary Burmakow Whited.
She is survived by: her children, Alyssa Ricke, Theresa Helmers of Sibley, Iowa, Duane Ricke (Pam) of Sioux Falls, Kevin Ricke (Sue) of Sac City, Iowa and Robbie Warntjes (Heath) of Boyden, Iowa; her granddaughter Julie Heimes (Allan); her children, Justin Helmers, Melanie Powell (Brandon), Kelly Ricke (Eric), Kaitlin Ricke (Dustin) and Hunter Warntjes (Tonya); her great grandchildren, Abbie, Brooklyn and Carter Helmers; her grandchildren, Mecca, Emory and Bekhom Powell; and her sister Irene Schueller of Dubuque. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
