She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Aberson and Jennie Aberson (Geurink); her husband Jacob Dykstra; her brother-in-law Wilmina (Nick Cleveringa); her brother John Aberson; and her brothers-in-law, Bernie Engeltjes, Gene Van Veldhuizen, Kenny Van Veldhuizen and Darrell Van Den Berg.
She is survived by: her children, Deb, Mart Peters of Sheldon, Iowa, Dave, Jen Dykstra of Boyden, Doug and Krista Dykstra of George, Iowa; her grandchildren, Heather Moreau (Justin), Brady Peters (Brittany), Maitland Dykstra, Courtney Dykstra, Eli Dykstra and Sean Dykstra; her great grandchildren, Levi, Landon, Eden, Elle, Lakum Moreau, Chase, Asher and Rhett Peters; her siblings, Betty Engeltjes and Jeane Van Veldhuizen; and her sister-in-law Gert Aberson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
