Jennie Keizer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennie Keizer of Sheldon, Iowa, born in Rock Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lane Klarenbeek and Willemina Klarenbeek (Rozeboom); her husband John J. Keizer; her son Leon Keizer; her grandson Kelvin Kooima; her brothers, Ray Klarenbeek (Dora) and Dick Klarenbeek; her sisters-in-law, Ann and Lillian; her siblings, Bill Klarenbeek (Adrianna), Gerrit Klarenbeek, Lane Klarenbeek (Jennie), Wilhelmina (John Den Besten), Gertrude (Bill Koedam) and Liz (Tom Kooima); and her brother-in-law Jim Wielenga.
She is survived by: her children, Jim (Vell Keizer), Jerald (Marilyn Keizer), Wes (Ana Keizer), Glen (Sue Keizer) and Carla (Les Starkenburg); her daughter-in-law Karla Keizer of Joplin, Missouri; her siblings, Ann Wielenga of Hull and Clarence (MaryAnn Klarenbeek) of Harrisburg; and her siblings-in-law, Geneva Klarenbeek of Rock Valley and Jim Keizer of Doon. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials will be given to the Women's Ministries at the First Reformed Church of Hull.
