He is survived by: his wife Jan Pennings of Sheldon, IA; his children, John Pennings (Alicia) of Ashton, IA, Tara Doyle (Kyle), Dana Pennings, Jennifer Mangel, Connor Murphy and Kimberley Murra (Jerry) of Ireton, IA; his granddaughter Megan Ray (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Aiden, Chloe, James Murra and Samantha Murra; his sisters, Marlene VandeKamp (Allan), Leona VandeKamp (Vernon), Ada Geels, Helen Bajema, Irene Van Oort (Curtis), Deanne Pennings and Sheila Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Noethe, Mary Gibbons, Barb Nilles and Joel Gibbons (Linda). He is also survived by his brothers, sisters, in-laws, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
