He is survived by: his wife Gladys Nieuwendorp; his children, Rachel (Brandon Krukow) of Boyden and Troy (Joy Van Veldhuizen) of Chicago, Illinois; his grandchildren, Taylor Krukow and Josie Krukow; his siblings, John Van Veldhuizen (Glenda) of Sioux City, Iowa, Gladys Kroeze (Rod) of Sheldon, Iowa, Dennis Van Veldhuizen (Sallee) of Milford, Iowa and Bonnie Kenagy of Sioux City, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Lori Van Veldhuizen of Sanborn, Iowa.
