She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis "Bug" and Winnie "Wink" De Bruin (Wesselink); her husband Donald Elmer Adkins; her son Scott; her parents-in-law, William and Emma Adkins; and her brother-in-law Jed Nibbelink.
She is survived by: her son Paul (Carol Adkins) of Sioux Center, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Judy Adkins of Sheldon; her grandchildren, Chris Adkins (Kristen), Kari Schmalbeck (Brian), Corey Adkins (Libby), Haviland Brick (Steve), Hilary Halverson (Tyler) and Hayden Adkins (Tysa); her great grandchildren, Tyus, Cade, Tatum, Maci, Avery, Tregger, Traeden, Mariana, Tierney, Keegan, Makinley, Gemma and Breklyn; and her sisters, Donna Nibbelink of Santa Clarita and Marilyn Vander Maten (Herm) of Surprise. She is also survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Newkirk Reformed Church After the graveside service relatives and friends are invited to join the family in the fellowship hall of the church.
