Earl Q. Meester Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Q. Meester of Sheldon, Iowa, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Harm and Mary Elizabeth (Ransom); his half-siblings, Elizabeth and Harold (Helen); and his sisters-in-law, Rose Meester and Kay Holst.
He is survived by: his grandson Douglas; his wife Shirley Ann Schmidt; his children, Deanna Akeson (Craig) and Douglas (Pat); his grandchildren, Cole (Maria), Melissa Akeson, Dustin Meester (Katie), Tyler Meester (Paige) and Amanda Glaser (Scott); his siblings, Henry, Dennis (Jean), Robert (Karen), Mary Honkomp (John) and Linda Wilson (Tom); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Pahl and Bonnie Newman. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
