He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Shumaker and Helen Shumaker (Parker); his wife Mary Lee Shumaker; and his siblings, Roger Shumaker, Barbara Miller and Irene Mills.
He is survived by: his sons, Donald Shumaker (Rhonda) of Hampden and David Shumaker (Diana) of East Corinth; his grandchildren, Jessica Grondin (Matthew) of Cumberland, Ryan Shumaker of Bangor, Victoria Shumaker of East Corinth and Elizabeth Shumaker of East Corinth; his great grandchildren, Olivia Shumaker, Charlotte Grondin and Gregory Clement; and his brothers, Paul Shumaker (Gladys) of Orrington and Louis Shumaker (Nancy) of Orrington.
