She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Niichel and Norma Niichel (Tremmel); and her brother-in-law Kimbal Rook. She is survived by: her husband Randy Kohn of Mary's Catholic Church; her siblings, Jerry Niichel (Shelli) of Sanborn, Iowa, Donita Burrows (Dan) of Tucson, Arizona, Deb Hatting (Mike) of Ashton, Iowa, Jim Niichel (Nancy) of Orange City and Steve Niichel of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and also, Tim Kohn (Sharon) of Ashton, Iowa, Natalie Anderson (Bruce) of Lakewood, Colorado, Jeff Kohn (Deb) of Harris and Mary Kennedy (Scott) of Kingsley. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews, relative and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Sanford Worthington Cancer Center.
