He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Wanda (Johns) and Clarence Arthur Meinecke Sr. The; his wife Wilma Ilene Hoskins; his brother Leon Meinecke; and his granddaughter Allison Meinecke.
He is survived by: his children, Brent Meinecke (Carol) of Mason City, Thresa Ruggles (Scott) and Scott Meinecke (Lori) of Sheldon; and his siblings, Betty Parrish, Shirley Krech and Larry Meinecke (Sue). He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home - Sheldon (724 6th Ave, Sheldon, IA 51201). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Faith Community Church (506 8th St, Sheldon, IA 51201). A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the East Lawn Cemetery - Sheldon (700 Union Ave, Sheldon, IA 51201).
