He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Eva, Reggie Danforth, Oscar and Patricia Ashford; his great-grandparents, Stillman and Leona Buzzell; his aunt Denise Stanley; and his grandson Jacob Oakes.
He is survived by: his sister Renee Hunt (Shawn Roy); his nephew Scott "Sonny" Hunt Jr. (Ally Jones); his stepdaughter Kayla of Georgia; his grandchildren, Violet, Preston and Parker; and his stepsiblings, Michelle and Shawn Nason. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
