He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit Wissink and Bertha Wissink (Vande Weerd); his wife Gladys Wissink; his son Gerald Wissink; his grandson Brian Wissink; and his sisters, Marian Engel and Jane VandeStouwe.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Vander Griend (Dave) of Wichita, Kansas, Brad Wissink (Cindy Calsyn) of Ames, Iowa, Dennis Wissink (Robin) of Early, Iowa, Judi Amsler (Ray) of Hiawatha, Iowa and Mark Wissink (Frances) of Brighton, Colorado.; and his grandchildren, Jill Mitchell (Chris), April Pannell, Justin Wissink (Melissa), Jenny Spahr (Jordyn), Alyssa Calsyn, Erin Mohr (Josh), Molly Wissink, Jackie Sturtz (Wes), Zach Amsler (Jayden), Austin Wissink and Mila Wissink. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
